Garbage & Recycling

All city residents receive weekly garbage pickup on Wednesdays, twice-monthly recycling on Wednesdays through Lyon County, and access to the city's compost site. Please have all your containers curbside the night before pickup. Garbage pickup is offered through a contract with Southwest Sanitation. Recycling is administered by Lyon County Environmental through West Central Sanitation.
