Normal operating hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday-Friday with one person on call 24/7/365 at (507) 829-8287.

The Public Works Department consists of 6 full-time employees. The department provides maintenance services for city streets, neighborhood parks, city buildings, vehicles, and solid waste. Public Works also operates and maintains the airport, water treatment plant, water distribution system, sewer collection and drainage systems within the city.

The public works department's goal is to preserve the safety and environment of Tracy through a combined effort and responsible use of all public resources available.
